I know gold is not enough

(Also new: Hat - eBay // Crop top - eBay // oooh and a fringe!)

Hello my lovlies, sorry for the absence, I was really ill for a while, and i've had to go back to school after my exams (boooooo!) which sucks, so i've been out of action for a while, just sleeping, going to school, seeing friends and working. I cannot wait to finish for the summer! So lately i've just been buying or re-purchasing certain things I liked so I thought i'd do a quick post, sort of a 'mini haul' type thing, just to show you some things!

1. Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in Light Porcelain
This is just a repurchase as this is my staple foundation at the moment. Its the best drugstore brand foundation I have ever tried, and its not too expensive, I think its around 6/7 pounds? Anyway, yeah I just think it works really well for my skin colour as its the lightest one i've found in drugstore brands, a lot of others tend to make me look very orange coloured. But this works really well and this is my 3rd bottle!

2. Aussie Take The Heat
Again, this is a re-purchase, I really like this product, and it smells really good, as do all the Aussie products. But this product is great because it really does protect you hair from heat styling. Yeah there isn't much to say about it really, its just a good product!

3. Vosene Silver Care Shampoo
This is a new thing i'm trying out and my mum actually bought this for me because i'm trying to get my hair to go blonder/lighter. So far I like this and can see a difference, but havent used it loads so can't really comment on this a huge amount!

4. Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer
Another re-purchase (told you this was mostly re-purchases) but this is my staple concealer and I love this stuff. I used to use the famous Collection 2000 concealer stick, but it started to get to the point where it looked to cakey, or maybe I just got really bored? I dont know, but i remember buying this a while ago and loving it, but not repurchasing at the time because it is about 10 pounds, which is rather steep for a drugstore concealer, but I think it is every bit worth the money. I use the lighter more yellow toned shade for my under eyes and the pinky toned shade to cover blemishes. It really works for me and it also has a setting powder with it that works great too! So yeah, two thumbs up for this product!

5. Moroccan Argan Oil
Last thing that is a re-purchase is this Moroccan Argan Oil. Lately i've been really into getting my hair healthy and feeling nice and soft etc, so I have been using this a lot recently, so i had to buy a new one!

6. L'oreal Elvive Styliste Mousse
This is a new thing i'm trying out, just because I used to have a styling mousse (not sure of the brand) a while ago that I liked, so my mum bought me this and so far I like it. I've found with hair mousse in the past when I put it in it stays in my hair and goes a horrible texture but this gives your hair volume, and makes it feel pretty soft, even when put on dry hair. Again, I haven't had this for long, but my first impression of it is that its pretty good!

7. Top and Hat both from eBay
I understand I haven't taken a very good photograph of the top, but its pretty much just like the turtle necked crop tops from places such as Topshop and American Apparel etc, but this one is from eBay for a fraction of the price! The one i'm wearing is a wine colour and I also got a plain black one. I think they are really great basic pieces. But I was really excited to receive this hat! I paid about 5 pounds for it and it was just the shape I wanted, and I am so excited to wear it when the sun makes an appearance again! The lipstick i'm wearing in the photograph is Plum by Revlon.

8. Fringe is BACK baby!
If any of you followed my old blog, you'll know that I got a fringe cut in a while ago and ended up not liking it at all. This was because the hairdresser made it really thin, and shaped it a lot around my face which I wasn't keen on, so i went back there and told the hairdresser exactly what I wanted (thicker fringe, not much shape around the face etc.) and I am so happy with it! My next step for my hair after the summer is a white blonde colour and a shorter alexa chung style cut, but I have to get my hair in better condition before I can do that!

Anyway, hope you liked this post, i'll be back soon with another. Hopefully another outfit post soon, but I don't really have anywhere to take them at the moment, so i'll work on it! Also hoping to start doing some video's now i've found a fairly decent camera to do some filming on so stay tuned for that!

P.S. I heard they are getting rid of google friend connect (WHAT?!) so click here to follow my blog via bloglovin!

Somebody call out to your brother, he's calling out your name.

Hey everyone, sorry i've been a bit absent for a week, i've been unbelievably ill for the past two weeks, and this week just gone it was the worst. It was so bad I had to skip an exam, which kinda sucks! But i'm back up on my feet now, getting ready to go back to school for four weeks until we break up for summer (which in my opinion is pointless!), started my new job and just sort of preparing for the summer months. But anyway, on with the post!

I'm kickstarting a new type of post on my blog called La Luna Loves! Its going to consist of all the things I love, just to add in some variety! And I'm looking to start up a Youtube channel at the end of this month and see how that will go, so I thought, i'll do a post on my favourite youtubers! These are my favourite beauty/fashion bloggers, I have a lot of favourite comedy bloggers etc, so if you're interested in seeing that, then let me know!

1. Jenn Im - clothesencounters.
I thought i'd include Jenn's channel first because without a shadow of a doubt, she is my favourite youtuber. Her style is flawless, and has so much variety in it, sometimes pretty and girly, and then other times rough and dark, I love all her videos. She pulls off all of the looks she creates with effortless style and beauty, and her voice is actually rather soothing! My favourites of her videos are her 5 casual looks, Ways to style band t-shirts and her 50 facts about me tag video, cause shes a really cool girl too! Too be honest, I love most of her videos, and I alway get excited for her to bring out new ones.

2. Bunny Meyer - grav3yardgirl
Bunny is the funniest beauty/fashion vlogger ever, I think she's so so funny. She's loud, she's eccentric, she's interesting and she's oh so hilarious. She doesn't take herself too seriously which I love, and the fact she treats all of her subscribers as one huge family, it's so lovely. I can't help but smile when I watch her video's. She also has the most INCREDIBLE shoes collection, especially her Jeffrey Campbell collection, its UH-MAZING. My favourite videos of hers are her Jeffrey Campbell Shoe Collection video, her get ready with me video's, and she filmed a hilarious video of her trying to curl her hair with an air curler. Its funny, go watch it. Also, she looks SAAASSSYY in red lipstick.

3. Estee - essiebutton
This girl is so adorable, and I'm a sucker for a Canadian accent. She's so naturally beautiful, I'm rather jealous actually, she looks beautiful with next to no make-up on. I really love her video which is a Drugstore make-up starter kit, because it just recommends some really good beauty products that aren't that expensive, even if you're not a starter. She has great knowledge of beauty products and I always check her channel for new beauty products I could try out.

4. Sammi - beautycrush
I have followed Sammi's channel for ages now, I really love her videos, both her style and beauty video's are great, she has a really simple but very great style, and her beauty video are my favourites. I like her Mac Dupes video because its really interesting to hear about products that you can get that are similar, but a fraction of the price, and for a 16 year old who's still at college, thats always a good thing! She also has some really cool tattoo's and I made sure I put in her latest tattoo update video in the post for you guys to check out, because I am IN LOVE with tattoos and can't wait til i'm 18 and can get one!

5. Zoe - Zoella
Of course I had to include the famous Zoella in my youtuber favourites. I've also been subscribed to her channel for aaaaageess now and she's so sweet. I like most of her beauty videos, but i mostly like watching her end of the month favourite video's mostly because i'm nosy and I like to see what people have liked over the month!

Anyway, those are my top 5 favourite beauty/fashion vloggers, I hope you enjoyed it, maybe found a vlogger that you haven't heard of before or maybe just shared a mutual love for a particular vlogger. Who are your favourite vloggers?
Until next time lovelies!

I'm a moon that never shows its face.

Hello all, i've been rather ill recently, i'm on a lot of antibiotics and painkillers which really sucks, and on top of that, i have to sit an exam on wednesday! Naht good. I'll live though. But they finish after that, and then im freeeeee! I also got a job now! Yep, I work at Waitrose now, and I know it doesn't sound very glamorous, but the pay is good, the hours are good and the job really isn't that bad! So i'm very happy!
Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to share with you some of my photography work I did for my school exam featuring the lovely Claudia form Pandora's Box. I really enjoyed taking these and was so happy with the outcome. I just thought it would be fun to share these with you and see what your thoughts are on them as I would like to start sharing more of my photography on this blog as well as some art as well. So please leave me a comment down below and tell me what you thought!

Take a walk.

(Right photo - having a Marilyn moment when the wind picked up!)

Cherry red velvet creepers - Doc Martens // Dungaree Dress - River Island // T-shirt - Olive // Necklaces - Primark, Ebay // Rings - Topshop, Gift, eBay, Primark.

I'm so happy to be getting back into putting outfits together and taking pictures, and sun was out today for me to take the photos! Yay! Hope you like them, this is my sort of go to outfit at the moment, cause it can be used for cold weather (just put some tights and a jacket over the top) as well as warm weather, so its really good for the ever-changing weather at the moment! I'm rather annoyed I didn't take a close up photograph of my shoes as they are my favourite shoes ever, so perfect, I love them! I'll have to include a close up picture soon! Also, the weather makes me want to listen to happy music so i've been listening to passion pit loads, listen to Take a Walk, honestly, it makes you want to be in a musical walking down a street with this music playing(well thats how I feel!)! I hope you like the post, give it a hype on lookbook if you like it, and comment down below what you think! I'm so grateful to all of you commenting and following, like i've said so much! Hopefully there will be some outfit posts to come soon!

Whatever I feel for you, you only seem to care about you.

Hello my lovlies, i've finished my exams until after the half term so I get a good break and a lot of time to revise for my final exam which is after the half term! I thought i'd stick in a quick post about some of my favourite lipsticks, as I am a big fan of lipsticks. I'm rather annoyed how some of the photographed though cause these lipsticks are really lovely in real life, but oh well!

1. Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in 113
I really do love this lipstick, its a lot more of nude in person though, but one thing thats annoying is that it doesn't seem to have the same matte feel that the other Kate Moss lipsticks do! Its still a lovely colour, a good one to wear out in the evening with a smokey eye. Its very pretty.

2. Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in 107
This is one of my all time favourite lipsticks and I am so annoyed about how it has photographed, as it has come out as a really bright red when in actual fact it has a little bit more of a purple tint to it. It is still a red, which is what I like about it a lot, so it can be worn as an everyday red lipstick, but can also be dressed up for going out in the evening. It also has a really matte finish to it and I use a lip brush to apply a coat first and then put the lipstick thicker on top and it lasts a very long time.

3. Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in 110
I really do like this lipstick, but I haven't really worn it out that much cause its rather bright. Its a coral-ly, pinky, red, orange, I don't really know how to describe it really! Its just quite a bright colour and again has the same matte finish as the 107. It is a nice colour, but its not greatly suited to my skin tone personally, and I didn't know this when i first bought it, as I am quite pale so it just kind of looks rather bright and garish on me.

4. Natural Collection Lipstick in Cherry Red
Okay, very cheap and cheerful but honestly this lipstick is great. And for only £1.99 you can't really go wrong! I really love this colour because it is a classic red and for a cheap lipstick it has really good staying power! This is my sort of 'every day' red lipstick. It is a lot more matte than i expected, and that is what i do like to find in a lipstick so i has a longer staying power. I've lusted over owning Macs Ruby Woo for ages now but this is a good alternative until I can bring myself to spend 14 pounds on a lipstick!

5. Revlon Lipstick in 010 Plum
This is one of my more daring lipsticks and I have only worn it a few times to a few parties I think. I do love it so much though, its a really deep purple (again, the photo doesn't do it justice) and looks really good and is a statement lipstick on someone with a pale complexion like me. I think I may bring this out for a few more parties over the summer months just to wear something different cause I do really love this colour.

And thats it! My lipstick 'collection' and I say collection lightly as its not really a collection! Oh well, I'd like to say this is my own personal opinion on these lipsticks and what i think of them, and I am not a make-up reviewer, so I apologise if i look like i don't really know what i'm on about!

Anyway, thank you for reading/following/commenting! It means an awful lot to me that you guys read my blog, and have followed to help me get back into the blogging world, let me know what type of posts you would like to see more of or maybe a post that I haven't really done yet but you would like to see! I love hearing what you all want me to post! Thanks everyone!
